Continuing her meteoric rise in the public eye, Scarlett Moffatt has given fans yet another reason why they should love her. The Gogglebox star has revealed she was able to pay off her parents' mortgage, which she described as the "best feeling" during Tuesday night's episode of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!.
Enjoying a heart-to-heart with her fellow campmates Wayne Bridge and Joel Dommett, the 26-year-old revealed she left her 9 to 5 job last year before she surprised parents, Mark and Betty - who also appear on Channel 4's Gogglebox, with the amazing gift.

"I paid off the mortgage on my mum and dad’s house for them," she confessed. When quizzed by Wayne about how she felt, she simply replied: "Oh it was the best. I just wrote them a letter and said, thanks for being mint, and sorry for leaving fake tan all over the house. Then I put a cheque in for them."
"My aim is to be able to by me mam and dad a caravan," she also noted. "Because they've always wanted one, but they are like £20,000, and I really want to be able to buy them one. And that's the dream, everyone wants to be able to look after their mama and dad, like they did when they were younger."

The bubbly TV star first propelled into the limelight when she appeared on the third series of Gogglebox alongside her family. Since then, she has gone onto publish her first book, entitled Scarlett Says, as well as landing a radio presenting job at Capital FM. Scarlett has also released her first fitness DVD, Scarlett's SuperSlim Me Plan.
Speaking of her dramatic weight loss, which saw her dropping from a size 16 to a size 10 in just six months, Scarlett has admitted she is "proud" of her progress. "Crying like a baby today, Cant believe I've lost 2 stone," she wrote on Instagram alongside another before-and-after snap. "Feel so proud. Honestly if a professional couch potato can do it, anybody can! #weight #fitness."
